Built in 1932, the Scarborough amphitheatre, which is the biggest in Europe, has recently undergone a £3.5 million renovation, making it, once again, one of the country’s and Yorkshire's top venues.

The 80s Are Back

Saturday 28th August

Celebrating the best of 70's and 80's music. The 80's Are Back! Bank Holiday Party features headline act BJÖRN AGAIN, The Original Bucks Fizz and Serpentine Fire (Tribute to Earth Wind & Fire).

BJÖRN AGAIN, a satirical parody of ABBA and a brand in its own right, this highly acclaimed show has rapidly achieved worldwide cult status grossing over £40 million, with 4000 performances in 50 countries.

After winning the 1981 Eurovision Song Contest Bucks Fizz with the famous skirt ripping routine, Making Your Mind Up went straight to number one followed by The Land of Make Believe and My Camera Never Lies. Now, original band members Cheryl Baker, Mike Nolan and Jay Aston reunite to perform some of their biggest hits.

Serpentine Fire are an inspirational and gifted group of musicians who have recreated to perfection the hits of Earth Wind and Fire such as September, After the Love has Gone, Boogie Wonderland, and many more.

The evening will end with a fantastic firework finale!
